1. Who We Are

enne ("the Service") is operated by Kuinka Oy (business ID 3179414-9, VAT FI31794149), a company registered in Helsinki, Finland. We are the data controller for your personal data.

2. Data We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information (email, name) when you sign up
  • Numbers and preferences you enter for personalized readings

Automatically collected

  • Analytics data (page views, device type, interactions) via Google Analytics and PostHog
  • Error logs to improve service reliability
  • Advertising-related data when ads are displayed (see Cookies section below)

What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties
  • We do not share your reading content with other users or advertisers

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data based on:

  • Contract performance — to provide the Service you signed up for (account, readings, subscriptions)
  • Legitimate interest — to improve the Service, fix bugs, and prevent abuse
  • Consent — for optional features like personalized recommendations, which you can withdraw anytime

  • To process subscriptions and payments (via Stripe on web, Apple on iOS)

We use third-party services for hosting, analytics, payments, and advertising. Each has its own privacy policy governing data handling.

Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ad Settings.

6. International Data Transfers

Kuinka Oy is based in Finland (EU). Some of our service providers, including Neon and Vercel, are based in the United States. When your data is transferred outside the EU, these providers operate under standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your data in accordance with GDPR requirements.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account data and reading history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer.

  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
